Rolf Posted January 5, 2008 Share Posted January 5, 2008 Hi, I have just installed this software as it was suggested as one of the very few valid ones to burn images of the road maps for the BMW car navigators, but i getting the following error: Sinchronise cache failed ! Device: [0:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4040B A301 (E:) (ATA) Reason: Program memory area update failure it pops up at the end of every image i try to burn. mmalves Posted January 5, 2008 Share Posted January 5, 2008 It seems your burner doesn't like the media you're using. With no disc in the drive and the tray closed, upgrade its firmware to the latest version (A304) then reboot the computer. As for media, we recommend Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden for single-layer, and for dual-layer only Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x MKM-001 Made In Singapore.
