hevydani
Hi, I have burned a 3.2gb DVD, at about 4x, in 8 mins. Seems a bit fast to me, anyway, when it completed, i opened the disk drive, closed it again, and nothing happened. The disk is not being seen at all in "my computer" and imgburn reports it as a blank disk. I can see the data on the DVD on the underside, so I am really stuck. i cant find anyone with the same problem, Let alone a solution to it. Please help! =============================LOG================================ ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 - Log ; Sunday, 06 January 2008, 02:16:16 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 01:57:18 ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 started! blutach
Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. I 02:07:24 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: OPTODISCR008) (Speeds: 4x, 8x) Very poor quality media. Get Verbatims or TYs. Don't forget to verify after your burn. Regards
JasonFriday13
I 02:07:24 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: OPTODISCR008) (Speeds: 4x, 8x) We suggest you use Verbatims or Taiyo Yudens for burning, these have codes similar to MCC, TY and YU, respectively. It's also a good idea to verify your burns, because ImgBurn makes sure the disc is recognized before verifying. @blutach: You beat me to it! blutach
Also, your drive is probably a BTC - if so, you can update your firmware. http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1913 Regards
