matija Posted January 28, 2008 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Hello, sorry i am a newbie at this burning stuff, but i was trying to burn an iso image, and then when i start that little buffer bar fills and when its full everything just stops and i get to rewrite attempt 1,2 or 3 or 4 and my write speed is some where at 150 and then keeps going down and at the bottom is says writing lead-in.... and it gets stuck here, i dont know if it is my drive, or my iso image if someone can please help thenk you. matija Posted January 29, 2008 Author Share Posted January 29, 2008 alright, well i bought new cd's (verbatim DVD+RW), and for a second i got my hopes up, and it even showed me the estimated time, but then it just failed again, guess im going to try to do it internally, will this probably be the problem or is it just a slight chance this will be it? dontasciime Posted January 29, 2008 Share Posted January 29, 2008 You would think by now the ide / 2 / usb chipset manufacturers would be able to resolve this, does not help when they do not include a flash to go with the chipset.
