Hangs at Synchronising Cache...

No matter what I try to burn with ImgBurn it always stops at Synchronising Cache... and sits there. Any thoughts???? Thanx in advance!!! Log below.

Low quality media. For DVD+R DL media only Verbatim (Made in Singapore) MKM-001-00 is reliable; everything else is hit or miss.

 

If you want to make coasters of the remaining discs, try burning at 6x or 4x and there's a remote chance of success :D

SB03 firmware is out now too.

 

When you think it's stuck on the sync cache thing (i.e after no less than 2 mins has passed), press F8 to enable I/O debug mode and look in the log window.

 

If you see I/O commands scrolling up/being added to it then the drive just still thinks it's busy.

 

If you don't see anything, something has died. Check your SATA controller config and drivers. Optical drives like being on controllers set to normal/standard/ata mode rather than RAID or AHCI.

 

Press F8 again to disable I/O debug mode (it slows things down).

Where did you see the SB03 firmware for the N, I see it for the B but not the N
