is it a normal stereo mp3 with a normal bit rate ?, example 128/169/192 ect ect , or is it something with a variable bitrate

do all other mp3 files get accepted in IB ?

It's a MPEG Audio Layer 3 32000Hz mono 48Kbps

and there are no pronlems with other files that i've tryed with to create CD CUE file.

The MS directshow filters will fail if the mp3 uses an ID3 v2.4 tag. You might want to check your files don't use that version.

Have no clue how to check it.

I was after the ID3 tag version info rather than the file format info, but not to worry!

Looking at what you've provided, perhaps the directshow filter cannot convert from 32000 mono to the format required for buring onto CD (44100, stereo, 16 bit).

I expect ACM would fail too on that file (assuming it was working in ImgBurn full stop!)

Honestly, i didn't know where to look for the ID3 tag version info.

All i found about ID3 tag is shown on the screenshot below. It shows two versions:

So, as i understood it is not possible to burn an Audio CD from these files using ImgBurn?

ID3 v1 is v1.0

ID3 v2 is v2.3

If your filters don't support the conversion, no.

ImgBurn relies upon DirectShow completely. If it can't do it then you're out of luck.
