tom3d
What is checking interfering programs and how can I disable this? This causes Imgburn to take a long time to load. ImgBurn 2.4.1.0 on Windows XP Pro SP2 tom3d
blutach
Interfering programs are AnyDVD, DVD43 and DVDRegion+CSSFree (see here). If you don't run these, you can safely turn this check off. By the way, it should have nothing to do with slow start up. Check that out in Process Explorer. Regards
LIGHTNING UK!
Your AV might be kicking in slowing it all down, I really don't notice any on my machine. Perhaps if you have 1 million apps running on a Pentium 133Mhz, it might cause an issue To disable it, just uncheck the appropriate 'Warning' box in the Settings (General tab).
