Yesterday I was using 2.4.0 and DVD-R DL media and it burned fine. I upgrade to 2.4.1 and now the same media from the same spindle now fails. I've made 2 coasters so far. Please help. I love the program and don't want to find a new one. Here is the latest log:

I 15:41:37 ImgBurn Version 2.4.1.0 started!

I 15:41:37 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 2)

I 15:41:37 Total Physical Memory: 3,143,944 KB - Available: 2,367,904 KB

I 15:41:37 Initialising SPTI...

I 15:41:37 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...

I 15:41:37 Found 1 DVD-ROM and 1 DVD

I 15:42:55 Destination Media Type: DVD-R DL (Disc ID: RITEKP01) (Speeds: 4x)

First, change to Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore.

Second, ensure you don't use -R DL if you are making a DVD Video (which I know is not the case here).

W 15:59:12 Failed to Write Sectors 1993824 - 1993855 - Reason: Logical Unit Communication CRC Error (ULTRA-DMA/32)

That's a machine configuration error and has nothing to do with the application.

ImgBurn only reports what the drive tells it, the errors are not from the program itself.

I appreciate the input but what I don't understand is that if it worked with 2.4.0 why won't it work with 2.4.1. I'll try different media and report my findings. I checked the DMA settings and they seem fine. I just have not made any changes and this is a new SATA drive. I don't get it! And anyone know where I can download 2.4.0?? Thanks again for all your help!
