Deib Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 It does this more often than not. Everything works fine, I have made many good DVDs, but I am getting tired of this. When I open the program it gets to this point where it says Getting TOC information and hangs. Then when it is complete I click on calculate and it hangs again. What is it really stuck on? I can open and close the tray, I can minimize the program. It doesn't really seem to be doing anything but sitting there paused. What am I doing wrong? mmalves Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 You're not doing anything wrong: your drive is old and has problems recognizing the discs you're using. Notice that it only supports DVD+R/+RW, not DVD-R/-RW. Finding media that this burner likes will be quite difficult, and burners are pretty cheap nowadays, so why not get a new one?
