ni_img_burn Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 i want to burn wii iso's with imgburn so i was going to burn the iso on a verbatim dvd-r 4,7 gb i set the speed to 4x so everything works fine untill: at the end of the process there is a error: this is not a slimline laptop put the dvd back in and press ok (this is not what was there exactly) so i did that, and then i cant change anything and it burns again with 16x speed (no rewritable) and thats bad for the wii, so i need to burn it on 4x anyone know how to change this? Notice that the disc was burned then, after you've closed the tray, ImgBurn verified the disc to confirm it was a good burn. It wasn't burned a second time nor anything like that. If it doesn't work on the Wii then it probably doesn't like the burn quality you're getting by using that drive. Could you try on another burner? ni_img_burn Posted April 27, 2009 Author Share Posted April 27, 2009 (edited) yes, i know its a good burn but, i want to burn it on 4x and not MAX/MAX cause the laser in the wii can only read 4x but after i put the dvd back in it is going to burn with max/max, and i can't change that speed and that is the problem EDIT: if i wish to not verifying, does the dvd then still works? mmalves Posted April 27, 2009 Share Posted April 27, 2009 Read my post above again please. The second part is the verify process, which checks data on the burned disc against the source image.
