HOW TO BURN MOVIES W/O A VIDEO.TS FOLDER

OK--First I am (obviously) a rank amateur. I have movies that have no video.ts files. When I use Imagburn (wonderful program!!) to burn them to dvd, they won't play. I've searched 'til I'm tired for a clear (to Me) answer but no luck. I did find a really clear answer on eHow,How to Burn a DVD on ImgBurn, that said to download the full set of video.ts files, in addition to the Imagburn program, from your site. Sadly, I couldn't find it there. Now I don't even know if I really need them, but in my research, video.ts (and audio.ts) all seem to be required. I must be VERY dumb because I've never found this question posted anywhere. Can anyone help? Please? Thanks so much!
