when did you start learning about programming such as c++?

When I was at (UK) college and studying 'Computer Science'.

Pick a development environment and get one of those 'Teach yourself (insert name of development environment here) in 21 days' books.

Vista x86 SP2 still.

I'd go to Windows 7 but it's too much effort to rebuild and reinstall everything I need.
