Really? I'm attempting to close the program for over 5 mins and still I get some flippant response? Was the person who programmed this dialog simply a troll? Yes, of course, I can go to task manager and force close it, but really, should I have to. Just allow your stupid program to close - as every other single Windows program does and lose the snarky responses.

It would have helped if you'd showed us a log so we could see what the program was doing and a screenshot of the main window.
If it's getting stuck somewhere on your machine that can be avoided, I will of course do everything I can to fix it.
