I have a fairly new Dell Laptop, have burned DVD's on this device using the windows burner, and previous versons of ImgBurn.
The current version has failed, with the reported error message.
here is the log:

Is it the first time you write on that RW disc in that drive?

Seems like the drive don't like that Disc ID: INFODISC-A01-02. or the disc has fingerprints/scrathes or already worn out.

Maybe a new disc or other Disc ID will work better.

You should not live in the past anymore!

Current supported version: ImgBurn 2.5.7.0 Get it while it's current!

Also, visit the site of: FIRMWARE HQ for drive update.
