Difficulty burning DVD-R on DVD-RAM burner

I 08:57:26 Found 1 DVD±RW/RAM!

Just purchased a new laptop with the above DVD writer - disc image burns fine but when I insert the disc into my dvd-r duplicator it tells me that there is too much information to fit onto the discs to be copied to however the size of the image is only around 3gb - is there a setting i need to change to make the writer burn as a standard dvd-r

There's no settings to be changed for that - when burning disc images they're burned as-is, no modifications are performed. Please post the log of that burn.
