Today I tried with Verbatim branded Printable 16x DVD-R [MCC 03RG20] and no OPC errors at all!

Jepp, Sverige här! Yes, I would consider those RW discs a bit old/scratched but I managed to burn an .img file with the same disc on my laptop with Vista Business and a MATSHITA UJ-852S DVD-RAM Recorder in ImgBurn v2.4.0.0 without any OPC errors! Any clues?

I haven't tried it with normal DVD-R or DVD+R yet, I will try this asap and get back to you with the result.

When I try to burn an .img file to DVD+RW with ImgBurn 2.4.0.0 i get error "Optimum Power Calibration Failed, Reason: Write Protected"? Running ImgBurn in Windows XP Professional SP2 using a Plextor PX-708A DVD-Recorder.
