  1. Yeah it does. However I've found when I create chapters they become sort of 'stretched out'. Like if you were watching a VHS with a bad spot on the tape. If that makes sense. Not creating chapters tends to stop that.
  2. Yeah that's what I was thinking since I've read some bad reviews of the memorex since buying them. HOWEVER my sister burned the receipt (GREAT I know) and I paid 40 bucks for them so I want to at least try the best I can. I have downloaded the lastest version of imgburn and am doing to try using that seperately after I authorize with dvdflick. I downloaded VobBlanker as well but I have no idea what a video.ts.ifo file is or how to make one.
  3. I'm using Memorex. 4. Ahh I see. I probably had the older version. Well I think I'm going to take these discs back and see if I can exchange them cause I've been reading a lot of bad reviews. It sucks though because they were a lot cheaper than the verbatim. Just to add, my sister used the discs on her Mac book (to make a sort of video bio of herself. She's a musician). She didn't know it was a DL and burned it as a single. It worked on our dvd player. Does this mean the discs aren't all bad or that it was probably just the program she used? That still doesn't help me though.

  6. I'm 100 percent positive I didn't read it wrong. I wrote down what it said. I did get a 'end of the world' message (weird) but it wasn't like the one in the link. I'm not sure what version of IMG burn came with the dvdflick (1.3.0.0) so I have installed 2.4.1.0 separately.
  7. I tried it again and I don't know if I missed the layer break part and it tried to select one itself, but I got a message saying 'Unable to find any cells for layer break' it said it could fix it by splitting cell VTS_02, PGC1. I selected ok and it continued to do it's thing. Then a while later I got a message saying I should have selected the MDS file and not that one, and it will do it automatically but not to do it again. What is a MDS file? I burn with dvdflick and IMG burn is included in to the program. I have no control once I start a burn so therefore I can't do anything about what IMG does so how do I avoid this in the future? Well it said it burned successfully and played on my computer. Won't play on my dvd player though. I have a JVC HR-XVC33U and a Citizen C507DVD-B. Neither of them say they support DL discs however I've heard plenty of people say their dvd players that don't support DL will play them. Maybe it's the discs I'm using?
  8. Thanks. I'm not sure how I'd post a screen shot without trying to burn another disc though. Then I'd have to wait for an answer. Here's the log if that's any help. *** imgburn.txt o r y : 2 , 0 8 7 , 5 5 2 K B - A v a i l a b l e : 9 4 5 , 1 4 8 K B I 1 9 : 3 1 : 3 5 I n i t i a l i s i n g S P T I . . . 9. When IMG burn asks to create layer break position what do I select? I pressed cancel which I probably shouldn't have done because then I got an error message saying the burn didn't work. I think it goes something like 50/50, 50%/50%.... There are about 4 or so options. Not entirely sure but I don't want to do it again and risk ruining another disc which weren't cheap!
