  1. Hi, I use a Sony Home theater Dav-DZ330 for playing files on a DVD+R disc (movie files in .avi). First question: I tried burnng with a file system UDF, the player was not able to read the disc, I used an Iso9660+UDF and the reader read the disc but the file names were screwed, so the order, so the only option is Iso 9660+Joliet. On my PC any choice is OK. Can somebody explain the reason of the player's different behaviours? Next question: my reader plays well both audioand video of an .avi file (usually mp3 128 kps Xvid Iso Mpeg-4 720x304) till a maximu lenght of roughly 1.1 Gb, at that point the reproduction stops as if the movie was at ist natural end. Can somebody explain why this occurs? Thank you and regards

  2. HI :)

ImgBurn 2.5.0.0 Windows XP Pro 5.1 Burner TSST Corp CDDVDW SH-S202J Firmware SB02.

    My questions:

What does "W 18:27:01 SPTD can have a detrimental effect on drive performance." mean? What does SPTD mean? What causes this message? What kind of effects it implies? How to solve the problem, if necessary? Many thanks, regards

  4. Hallo, a very strange problem

I use a Samsung internal Super WriteMaster with Verbatim 4x DVD-R DL and I want to burn an ISO file at 1x; well, I launch the test phase and it ends fine, I only notice that the syncronising cache phase takes 9 minutes, that is to say one third of the overall time; than I choose write and verify, but at the very end of it the synchro cache phase never ends. If I try to stop ImgBurn it replis 'ack' but does not goes to an end, if I force the termination of ImgBurn the device keeps to be busy and I must reboot my system. I tried also updating to the latest version the device firmware, nothing changes, still the same never ending synchro. See the log. I have already burnt ISO DL without having troubles. Many thanks for your kind help. Take care.
