No i have not done verify is it a must ? I just realized that when i was troubleshooting it before i had left it unchecked... soo that is why my player ejecting the dvd out ? not sure. please advise

THANK YOU! i have updated the firmware. and was able to write my first disk. Also i use Melody brand - DL disk for writing. Thanks for prompt response.. PROBLEM - After successful Completion of writing to DISK. My player is not playing the written disk. - My player just ejects the DVD out
