  1. i will look to buy some verbatim next chance i get. just for the sake of it i attached a file of a burn that i did with a sony disc (all previous burns had been on a staples disc). beyond the verbatim discs is there any other advice you can offer as of now? HL_DT_ST_DVD_RAM_GH10L_FC0B_SATURDAY_FEBRUARY_21_2009_6_27_PM_SONY16D1_MAX.ibg
  2. here you go. HL_DT_ST_DVD_RAM_GH10L_FC0B_SATURDAY_FEBRUARY_21_2009_5_22_PM_CMC_MAG._AM3_MAX.ibg
  3. i will do another burn right now and verify it. should have it up in 15 mins.
  4. File is attached HL_DT_ST_DVD_RAM_GH10L_FC0B_THURSDAY_FEBRUARY_19_2009_10_27_PM_CMC_MAG._AM3_MAX.ibg
  5. But do these two pictures not mean that is the case: http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/29...104821321euNXtq http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/20...104821321HHKVGI They're both using the same ATA Controllerm just different ports on it. The burn didn't used to go this slow before and I have been using these same discs for months now (i bought a few spindles on 50 on black friday). also, mmalves, where am i supposed to find the file "HL-DT-ST_DVD-RAM_GH10L_FC0B_THURSDAY-FEBRUARY-19-2009_10-27_PM_CMC_MAG._AM3_MAX.ibg" Thanks for both of your help so far!
  6. http://entertainment.webshots.com/album/570160412wLSAdM I took some screen shots of my ATA controllers. That is the full album. I think I do have a situation like what you were talking about in this picture and the next two after it: http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/21...104821321kxrxQK
  7. not i'm aware of. maybe a windows update is the culprit? i talked to an HP rep and they told me to uninstall nero 9. i havent done that yet, but i dont see how that will affect it anyway. then they told me to do a system restore, but there were only 3 restore points available - all within the past 2 days. the earliest one said that a windows update had occured (my reasoning for that as a possible issue).
  8. but the burning process never used to take this long. is there a way i can make it burn at 16x becuase i know it's capable of that
  9. my dvd burner is being really weird lately. I dont know why, but it isn't burning at the same rate it usually is. Imgburn takes 15 mins now when it used to take only 3.
