Hello, I have this problem. I try and write data dvds, select a certain speed and my drive suddenly doesn't seem to go past 0.7/0.8x. Haven't modified anything hardware-wise... I downloaded the latest imgburn, reset the settings and nothing worked. Here's a log of a dvd (the nth) I started writing and, again, nothing past 0.8x, although I requested 4x. The drive is a asus drw 1814blt. I downloaded the latest firmware update and weirdly enough when I try and install it it says "no matched devices". wtf? P.S. I thought it might be the cheap dvds but I just tried a verbatim and it did the same. Is this software related?
