Yes I am.So,if I buy 2.4x they will 100% work? (youst for having hundreads of cds and no burner >.<)

sh**t,this drive has done at maximum 10 burnings >.<,i read dvd+r dl on the dvrive so i thought that it was able to burn.The problem is that in my town i only found this 8x.... So you think that's an hardware problem and not a software problem? This will work only with a setup like this or i can make sth else? Newest burner ---> also 8x My burner ----> only 2.4x

Hi guys,i have a problem. I own a LG GSA-2164D,and i want to burn an xbox360 backup on a verbatim DVD+R Double Layer (i have the original copy ).the problem is that when i insert the dvd,imgburn says for a few seconds "in progress of becoming ready",and than says "'medium not present".I've seen another simlar 3d in this forum but nothing worked for me. I've successfully burned cds and dvds with this external ,but it won't read double layers!!!!!!
