i read in a forum that i should change the "book type" to "dvd rom" . is it possible? and how do i do this? and i have never burned a dvd before. so should i select 2x , 2.4x or 4 x? (i dont wanna burn at 8x as i heard it will probably produce errors)

I changed the title of the navigation disk iso image from something like "BTM070S55A" to "Accord navigation Disk". Does that make any difference? Secondly: which speed should i select when burning? I bought verbitam dvd +R DL 8x . I need to run this on a 03/04 accord. Thanks.

So if the PTP disks dont exist, then how come the original dvd navigation disk is PTP?

So if i select "write image file to disk" and select the dvd navigation image, will imgburn record in PTP or OTP? if in OTP then whats the method to change the setting so that it records in PTP? if it cant be changed then whats the solution so that my backup copy of navigation dvd works in the navigation system? and OTP wont work in the navigation system? Hi.I would like to know how to copy a DVD DL Disk. I have a 2003 Honda Accord (Japanese) with a navigation system which has a DVD DL navigation disk. I would like to create the exact copy of this DVD DL Navigation Disk (for backup). I dont know whether this DVD DL is +R or -R, so I dont know whether to create a copy in +R or -R. Is there any way to know what type of disk this is? (+R or -R). I read somewhere that -R would be compatible with more drives and so it is safer to create in -R rather than +R. I have made a image from imgburn by just clicking "create image from disk" and now the image size is 7.69 GB. So my 1st question is regarding the "- +" format I will now just burn the image to a new DVD + or - DL. So my 2nd question is : Will this method work? Is this the right method? will the navigation system pick this DVD up and read the maps, etc?
