  1. Notice the link in my post above.

I used your method to view the logs but it appears to only keep the last day or last 5 or so burn logs??

My errors were many more burns, farther back than that text file is showing.

Is their a way FORCE the IMGBURN to save all logs no matter how big or long ago?

  2. Using Windows 7 64-bit

DVD Burner is "TSST TS653N" Model 20X

    99% of the Media I use is "Verbatim DVD-R 16X" Disc's.

    Using IMGBURN or Ashampoo

25% of my burning fails with the same IO ERROR of some SEEK error, Usually the Burn is nearly 90% complete too.

Most of the burns are a season of a TV Show which are 20+ AVI files which is how I wish to burn them.

Can someone help me burn Fast and Error-Free Discs?

  3. The :clown: issue:

Only thing you can do to improve speed is to get a 24x drive. The burning part will be faster, but the verify part will remain more or less the same. Not all discs support 24x writing. Perhaps you will gain around 15-20 seconds with such a drive compared to the one you have now.

$35 for 30 seconds? I'll pass :chinese: . Glad I know this now... it's so hard to get straight answers online these days :tumbleweed: .

    thanks. :lol::clown:

  4. Post the full log of a burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu) and we'll see what can be done.

    Anyone?

  5. The verify tells you if the burn was good or not, so turning it off isn't safe in any way.

Now if you don't care about the readability of the data on the disc then you can turn it off

Ok but then that sucks for me. I was looking for time savings.

Are there any setting on IMGBURN that will Decrease time needed to copy from hard drive to a dvd-r?

Anything at all, even if it only saves 30 seconds...I am so upset when things take 8 or 15 minutes, that is not even as fast as advertised for the dvd drive.

    help

I'm not joking around or exaggerating , I'm close to psychosis or lose my mind over these excessive times it takes to copy just files to the dvd drive, please help me.
