  1. Yes, it's called Trojan.Agent.AMTB
  2. NOW IT WORKS! It seems to have been a virus. While I was working on the computer this afternoon, my BitDefender virus detection box kept popping up saying it had found and removed a Trojan Horse virus. It would pop up every 20 seconds referring to removing the same file - qeolmc.pnn in the Windows directory. I tried to delete the file myself, but I couldn't because the file was in use. I rebooted into the Recovery Console and deleted the file manually via the command prompt. When I rebooted into Windows XP, both DVD Decrypter and Imgburn started with no problem I must have had this virus on my system for a couple of weeks now, because my computer has been acting a little weird. I guess the latest BitDefender update finally recognized it as a virus and tried to kill it. It must be fairly new - I did a Google search on this file name, and came up with no hits. Anyway, thank God Imgburn is back, and thanks for your help.
  3. So far I haven't had any luck getting Imgburn to work. If all else fails, I will do a Windows XP reinstall. I have a backlog of ISO images to burn to DL discs. What program would you recommend using for this, if Imgburn was not available?
  4. This person is having simular problems, and seems to think it was caused by a Windows XP update. http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=149...p;#entry1922228
  5. I had Bitdefender first. I have the antivirus portion of Zonealarm Security Suite disabled.
  6. ================================================== Entry Name : 2003th FireMagic! screensaver v2.5 Version : 51.9.0.0 ================================================== ================================================== Entry Name : 3D Windows XP Screen Saver Version : ================================================== ================================================== Entry Name : Acronis
  7. The uncompressed one did not work either. When I try to run it, I get a Security Warning box saying that the file does not have a valid digital signature that verifies its publisher. When I allow it to run, it starts and then stops. I tried running both ImgBurn and DVD Decrypter in safe mode(Windows XP), but neither will run in safe mode. I thought I had found the culprit yesterday when I noticed that MsMpEng.exe(Windows Defender) would grab a big chunk of CPU power every time I tried to start Imgburn(I was using Process Explorer to monitor the programs running). I disabled Windows Defender, but Imgburn would still start and then stop. I have disabled my virus protection(Bitdefender) and internet protection(Zonealarm) and tried to run Imgburn, with no success. I will try uninstalling every program that I have installed or upgraded since Imgburn and DVD Decrypter stopped loading to see if I can get them to work - this may take a while. I hope it was not a Windows XP or Internet Explorer update that caused the problem.
  8. Is it possible to get an uncompressed version of the Imgburn software?
  9. OK, The MD5 hash for the downloaded SetupImgBurn_2.4.4.0.exe is c68e800b5d710a38a918943baa729ca6 The MD5 hash for the Imgburn.exe file is 1fc166d09c990ee9a14c496c20ef8190
  10. What are MD5 hashes, and how do I get them?
  11. Yes, I have tried all the steps above. Imgburn was running fine until a week ago, and then all of a sudden it wouldn't load. I reinstalled it several times, and I even tried installing an earlier version in case the problem was with the latest upgrade. I have scanned for viruses several times, all to no avail. If it is any help, I am having the same problem with DVD Decrypter. If Imgburn will function in safe mode, I will boot into safe mode to do my burning. As an aside, what does Ccleaner have to do with the problem?
  12. I am having the same problem - Imgburn will not load. There is nothing in the log file - the last entry was three years ago. Will Imgburn function in safe mode?
