  1. It's been a while since I was here in the forum and I don't use ImgBurn as much but it's still THE best tool for the job when I have to burn a disc. Anyway, there's a few minor things I want to suggest: - When setting the label for a disk I normally use the Synchronized editing option and I have to activate it every time. It would be nice if ImgBurn remembered my choice. - It would be a good thing it the focus followed the mouse. - In the disk layout editor, the typical, expected behavior is that if you press a key, the cursor jumps to the first file starting with that letter/number; however, in ImgBurn it doesn't work. Also, Alt+Tabbing to another window and then back to ImgBurn causes the focus for the DLE to be lost. This is on Windows 7 64 bits.
  2. I haven't been in the forum lately but it's always nice to see a new version of ImgBurn. I've been using ImgBurn for years and it's the only burning software I need. Thanks for a great software LUK!.
  3. I'm looking for an online store that ships Taiyo Yuden DVDs (or good quality media in general) to Mexico. My first thought was to use one of the available Amazon offers but none of them ship to Mexico. I want to buy, preferably, 100 discs spindles using a PayPal account. Any suggestions are appreciated.
  4. Thanks!. ImgBurn is the best burning software. Just a few days ago I copied the last InCD discs I had back to the PC so that I could finally get rid of any sign of other burning software I used in the past. It's always nice to see a new version of ImgBurn even though 2.5.5.0 works great.
  5. I usually keep ImgBurn in english, but I'll check this one out.
  6. Strange. It works fine here on Windows XP SP2. [EDIT:] Does it happen with whatever files you select? or it's just one particular file?.
  7. Same issue here. It's not a terrible issue as those are just shortcuts but I ended with 4 shortcuts to ImgBurn on my desktop. Oddly enough, all shortcuts are for the same user profile. As I said, it's not that bad, I just have to delete 3 of them. I'm just pointing this out in case it's useful. Windows XP SP2 by the way.
  8. Impressive changelog as usual. Thanks LUK!.
  9. I guess you're right, spinningwheel. I'll try to verify the content and find out. Thanks spinningwheel and thanks LUK!.
  10. So may I assume that the disc is fine to keep or should I burn the data to another disc?.
  11. I didn't manually save the log 'cause I thought it was just defective discs but I found it in the global ImgBurn log. Anyway, it did also allow me to see that it may just be pure coincidence as the log for the previous disc had the error on a different sector (in the same file but it's a 100 MB file so it's not that strange). I'm guessing it is indeed something with the discs but the fact remains that 7-Zip's verification returned no error. 12. I have an old burner (LG GSA-4120B) and ImgBurn 2.5.2.0. A few days ago, I bought a DVD-R labeled MATRIX 8x with Disc ID TYG02 and tried to burn some files. During the verification, I got an error so I just trashed the disc. Today, my brother brought me a disc and it turned out to be the same MATRIX 8x TYG02 as they're kinda popular here; he bought it in a different place, though. So I decided to burn the exact same set of files as before and once again I got a verification error, which I thought was a bit weird as I've read good things about discs with an TY ID. Anyway, here comes the weird thing. I was about to trash this disc when I remembered that the other disc had the verification error on exactly the same ZIP file. I inserted the disc again, browsed to that file and then used 7-Zip's Test archive option and it returned no errors meaning the file was readable. I launched again ImgBurn and used the Verify disc option (without an image, though) and it verified that all sectors were readable. So, what's going on here? is it maybe due to an aging burner? faulty HDD? disc errors?. And what about the data on the disc? was it burned correctly or not?. Any comments appreciated. Thanks.
  13. I love the DLE but as of now, if you have the Explorer Panel open and select multiple files/folders, the only way to add them to the project is (correct me if I'm wrong) to drag them into the Disc Layout panel. I was thinking that a button in the toolbar (or perhaps a keyboard shortcut) to add the currently selected files would be handy. Thanks.
