ok, yeah, it's probably an Acer OEM then Will let you know if it works in my xbox, although the firmware version still is the original (B2), atleast it got through the burning process.

I tried to flash with every version from 1.04 through 1.06 and 1.77. I thought I'd break something, but actually, my last burn attempt worked! Used 4x speed. Is it necessary to verify disc? What is an OEM drive?

So I tried with a lens cleaner, but again the burning failed at 48 %. I decided to try to update the firmware of my writer (Optiarc BD BC-5500S), but the flash failed.. every version! I really need some expert help, lol. Anyone? Any ideas?

Hi. I've recently encountered a problem with burning .dvd files with imageburn. So I've read the topics about using verbatim, and verbatim only. Well, I do, and have now got the same problem with 3 dvd's, all brand new out of the case, and three different .dvd files. I've also tried burning at both 8x, 4x and 2x. Any ideas guys?
