  1. That's because your external drive uses FAT32 filesystem, and FAT32 doesn't allow single files larger than 4GB. Correct, thank you. It works if I create the iso on my internal HDD. Do you think I can format the external drive on NTFS?
  2. In fact I have reset all options to default and still wants to create layer break position 50/50.
  3. Hello, Of course I tried it but it creates two files with extension .I00 and .I01 plus a small MDS file. I have also changed the Advanced>Media setting so the Single Layer Profile is Custom and the maximum Sectors are now 4297888 (8394 MB) hoping that will create a single output file, but didn't work. I am assuming this setting has to do with how the file are phisycally stored on the media rather then how large the output file is. Your answer gives me hopes there is a setting somewhere that dictates a DL to be split or not. Apparently I have changed it by accident. I'll keep digging, thanks for your answer. Thank you.
  4. Hello, I would like to create just one single iso image than can be larger than 4.7 GB - no splitting necesary. Is it possible? The reasoning is I want to backup my DL DVDs on an external HDD and do not want to use DVD Shrink to create a smaller footprint. Any advice appreciated. Thank you, Paul
