Thank you lighting; I will check that up in the morning. Strange that they have not pointed that out though; and that they did not display my payment for the month, on my account; and only show me as a free membership type, with the facility to upgrade. Never to old to learn though. Thanks Movictor1

Hi everyone, Its sad to have to report misuse by companies that we require use now and then. I was advised to use a company that managers downloads of files, especially large 3d files; So i visited the site "Freeserve", and decided i would join and pay a one days subscription for a trial period of 24hours;well it did not work for me, due to the download speed; nothink ventured, nothink gained. Next morning, my wife of 71years young, asked me why had i paid fileserve 9.99 euros for a months subscription, followed by re-occuring monthly payments; This only came to light because paypal ad avised us of these payments. It made my wife feel terribly ill, to think people could just steal our pension. I cancelled all re-occuring payments with paypal, and had to change details; lodged a a paypal complaint, and they advised us to contact "FILESERVE"which i have done 3 times now, "Have a nice day" is all i get. We have no funds to fight, thiefs and fraudsters; surely we have worked hard for over 50 years to be able to enjoy our last years with our grandchildren. PLEASE advise if possible.
  5. Hi every one, Having a great time writing small 3d iso files onto 25gb bluray discs; no problems; Prices of 25gb bd-r are ok;but the price of both bd-r 50gb and bd-re 50gb are to expensive to use. Is it possible to write using 2 separate sl25gb discs. Two sided are also very expensive. And my iomega external drive is filling up very fast; and after so much effort to copy, it seems a shame to erase, especially if my granchildren decide they wish to play, lets say-"Alice in wonderland" at 80gb! Its not being tight, but we have to be sensible in retirement. Great fun learning from you all. kind regards Movictor1

    3d shutter glasses

Hi everyone, here goes .I had a iso file which i wished to play using my Panasonic 3d tv. If the size of the file had been under 25gb, then it would be no problem;this i succeeded last week, very exciting. burning it onto a 25gb bluray disc. But the cost of 50gb discs prevented me purchasing these. A member suggested that i mount my iso on a virtual drive; well i may as well have mounted a Horse! i did not have a clue; 3 days later i managed to mount a iso on a virtual drive; great i thought, i found the drive with the film in "my computer" but when i wished to play using my panasonic it informed me it would play it using "vlc" On my screen; 2d! I have sony 3d bluray theatre system that plays 3d discs very well. But this is not a disc, and it plays from the computer through a hdmi lead into my panasonc. And of course the most important bit, is that my 3d shutter glasses will not turn on using this method; works fine using disc; i also have power dvd 10. Maybe its because i am getting to old to pick this up; but i do not want to be beaten; any sdvice in simple terms would be really appreciated good people. Sincerely Victor
  8. Thank you "Lighting U/K" I will now be looking ,how to mount? my iso, and what programme to use. Regards Victor
  9. Thank you "Rincewind", that clears up part of my problems. Appreciated. Victor
  10. Hi everyone, just joined, 66 years of age, not very computer literate, willing to learn. i have successfully cut my 1st. 3d disc from iso files; fantastic. Now the problem, i have another title to burn, but the size of the file is 44gb. I have 25gb bd-re discs (so i can make mistakes and learn) then i can use ,bd-r discs. Please advise. Also i have a file using left eye and right eye, i used nvidea 3d player, but i dont have a correct graphics card to play the sound; anyway of putting these files onto bd-re? Time for headache pill! Happy new year to all. regards Victor
