Hi I have a master audio CD (non-commercial) and copied in a dedicated tower CD copier and it verified fine. Then in ImgBurn..... Created an image file from master disc Compared the copied CD using 'Verify CD' against the .CUE / .BIN files. 100% fine. No errors. However on the last track of the copied CD there is an audible 'glitch' occuring 7 or 8 times. If I convert the last track (for both master and copy) to .WAV files and zoom in on the displayed waveform, the copy has a visible 'flat' area at the corresponding glitch that the master CD does not have. For all the audible glitches, there is a visible 'flat' area. So the .WAV files are different on master and copy. But my question is, shouldn't the 'verify CD' option detect there is a difference? I have applied the firmware update, rebooted, WinXP found new hardware (the drive) and re-allocated the drive to F: Writing failed again. Thought it may make a difference with new firmware, so created a new .CUE and .BIN file and tried to write that one. Same error.
