  1. I have had this error a few times recently as well (Potential 'WaitImmediateIO' Deferred Error - can't remember the description though). Could just be my drive dosen't like my media.
  2. For cd's, once ImgBurn goes multi-track, he might think about it . For dvds, use DVD D. [edit]Forgot to add I would also love this option.[/edit]
  3. Did you win the lottery or something? Those are similar specs to what I want my new machine to be (with a custom aluminium frame and stainless steel glass blasted panels with 15" touch screen on the side - with custom water cooling made by me ). [edit]I have some portability in mind - with a handle welded on at the top.[/edit]
  4. Well, I am still happy. I believe the Australian/New Zealand release is still on 17 November 2006. I'm not going to get one until all the bugs have been ironed out (probably christmas 2007). I was also lucky when I bought my PS2. I bought one of the ones (with in-built IR) right before it went slimline in February 2004. As I see it, the playstation 3 will be the ultimate entertainment machine.
  5. Just downloaded it . Just saw the changelog, man, have you been busy ! Awesome work LUK!.
  6. I would like to know if LUK made a spelling mistake when he said it would be due out today or tomorrow. He probably means 'When September Ends' by 'Green Day' .
  7. Two more command line switches I have just thought about adding to IOSBuild mode. One to change the 'preserve full pathnames' option and the other to change the 'recursive subdirectories' option.
  8. Thanks very much! My luck just improved .
  9. So I have a one out of seven chance of my features/bugs being added/fixed . Oh well, I learned something in the process.
  10. Well, could you mind telling me where? I didn't find it in the readme file, and I don't have internet access at home (I use the college computers for internet access). The help is appreciated.
  11. 1. When a disc is being verified, the 'verify' checkbox is still enabled. Should it be disabled when verifying? 2. The menu item 'Tools -> Drive -> Set Read Speed'. Why is it there again? The only reason that I can think of is that it is used for verify mode only. 3. The 'Implementation ID' field in ISOBuild mode. I think it should state the version used as well as the program name, e.g 'ImgBurn v2.0.0.0'. 4. Why does the menu item 'Tools -> Drive -> Regional code' even exist? It's not like you can read from a disc in ImgBurn (apart from verifying, but that is not relevent). 5. There should be an option to make DVD Video discs region free when burning them (like 'From image', '1 - description', '2 - description', etc.). 6. If I want to change the volume label ('Tools -> ISO -> Change Volume Label...'), I would like an option to browse for an image or change the label of the loaded image to be burned (instead of just searching for a file to change). [edit] 7. Option to duplicate the ISO Build mode volume label into the Joliet and/or UDF fields as well. [/edit] I have also noticed you have a new 'Tools -> Drive -> Capabilities' dialog box. Much easier to use. This is an awesome program to use. The only thing I am waiting on is multi-track recording, and burning audio cd's from .wav files (no other file types, except maybe Ogg Vorbis ). Then I can kick Nero's bucket for it .
  12. How about an option to not save the settings of ImgBurn? Could be used for command line purposes only. The only reason I ask is because my backups using the build mode always leaves ImgBurn in the state when it exited, and I want it to stay in the mode that I last (manually) used it. Could be '/NOSAVE'.
  13. You can also double-click on the listbox to expand it out and shrink it.
  14. Nah, that's alright. At least I tried. I will find a workaround myself.
  15. Sorry, I forgot to add that I have added extra comments to the post above, which is why I haven't posted back. From earlier post: Maybe you could add an option to explicitly 'Quick erase' the DVD+RW before writing the image?
  16. Awesome! The next version is closer than I thought!
  17. Nah, that's cool. Haven't tried it yet .
  18. I appears that you can't erase a DVD+RW using a command line, so .... (wait for it) .... Can you add a command line switch to erase your media? (The only reason I ask is because I am going to use a few nsis scripts as batch files to backup my data, and I would like to explicitly erase my media before writing my image - reason for this is posted in the bugs forum by me). [edit]fixed typo.[/edit]
  19. Yeah, me too. Maybe have 'ctrl + b', 'ctrl + w', 'ctrl + v' and 'ctrl + d'. (major hint).
  20. I also want to give a big thank you to LUK for this program, so here it is: Thank You
  21. Well, tried it again with the firmware update, and it still didn't work. I think it is a bug with the program (which is why I posted here in the first place). I think it is not explicitly erasing the disc before writing the image, because the verify errors start at sector 0 (zero). Like I said in an earlier post, if I manually erase the disc first, close down ImgBurn, then start ImgBurn and burn an image, it burns and verifies the image with no errors. [edit] Maybe you could add an option to explicitly 'Quick erase' the DVD+RW before writing the image.[/edit] [edit] Forgot to mention my disc is a MKM-A01- something, something, something...[/edit] [edit] The very first line of my first post stated that it was DVD+RW, but you already knew that, didn't you?[/edit]
  22. 1. I realise DVD+-RW "run-out", but it probably would since one of those cheap brands. Can't remember the code at the moment but knowing me I will remember on the way home . 2. I have been trying to find updated firmware for a while now with no luck yet. I bought my drive in December of 2005. [edit] Just found the DL13 firmware update and is downloading now.[/edit] 3. The reason I am not using SPTI is because I can't burn when I am in a restricted account (not administrator). The aspi drivers I am using are also know as ForceASPI v1.7.
