  1. Hey everyone... In 'Build mode' of course in ImgBurn I added an ISO file to the build list, I already knew what will happen, because I needed to fiddle with something while watching Vsause on YouTube But lets get to the improvement ImgBurn should have. When I hit the 'Calculate' button it will show me the error in a message box form, saying you cannot add an image file to an image file. So I let the message box stay open for a while, but the calculation timer is still running. Ahh, So could you change it so when the message box shows it pauses the timer and when the user closes the message box it resumes again, and the end result doesn't say it took 5 minutes to calculate which it didn't? Thank you E 13:36:17 File size exceeds the limit imposed by the ISO9660 file system. E 13:36:17 Name: K:\MY ISO FILE.iso E 13:36:17 Size: 8 738 846 720 bytes E 13:50:27 Operation Failed! - Duration: 00:14:10 Yes an Xbox game
  2. Ahh, Ok so currently now we have Blue-ray movies on SL and DL Blu-ray discs, if you look at a older disc and a modern disc. This is no fact AFAIK, correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that 4K media will go on XL discs, but yet again, the XL discs can be used for data backup, Multiple movies re authored to fit on one disc. There are a number of reasons.
  3. To my understanding (AFAIK), Blu-ray Discs have 4 versions and can have up to 4 layers. Version 1 = 25GB Single layer disc. Version 3 = 25GB x2 Double layer disc. Version 1 = 20GB~ x3 Triple layer disc. Version 1 = 20-30GB~ x4 Quadruple layer disc. But I could be wrong
  4. Well yeah, your DLLs, that are combined with ImgBurn,
  5. Where is the BiDi project available for download? And another thing, how many other projects are compiled with imgBurn?
  6. So is there no update for the BiDI project, I guess that is compiled with ImgBurn?
  7. So, I don't know how long it took you to implement this into the program and how to recreate the universe to make the programs controls and classes be BiDi supported, wow. But there are a few bugs after playing around with the program: I don't think I can list all of them, but just play around with your program and find them 1. Log and Main form Main Menu control, 'File'; 'View'; 'Mode', etc have not changed to BiDi Right to Left, but the Log's form has, i.e 'Tools'; 'Edit'; 'File', in that order. 2. 'Build mode', 'Remaining disc space' label are messed up to unreadable state. 3. Tools (etc) -> ISO -> Context menu show on the left hand side not the right, so change it to the right, because it is not correct, it should follow the arrow. This may vary, but it changed to normal after restarting the program. 4. Automatic Write Speed, list view (Details) the columns are not alined correctly, there is a big cap after the 'Write Speed' column. 5. Wow, the 'Disc Layout Editor' is really messed up, ListView1 has a cap after the 'Size' column, and the 'Type', 'Date Modified' columns and not show. Treeview1, Areo items don't cover over the icons as they should,so yeah. ListView2, it all over the place. and image below will explain. Treeview2 is not effect at all by the BiDi Right to Left, but remains as default. The multiselect is not Areo any more in ListView2 6. The drop down list for the drives, the format text of the drive is not the same as the format text of the drives in the log, the disc label, etc. 7. I think most message boxes have this effect, but on the 'Display Graph Data' button and the message 'There is nothing to display', the explanation mark does not seem to start at the beginning of the sentence, 'You..... !something' 8. In the settings, the labels seem to be everywhere, not in the border of group boxes, etc. Checkboxes seem to be in center of group boxes not on the side. Check boxes seem to have something on top of them, in the 'Sounds' tab 9. After BiDi is set to default, the Main Menu control seem to "malfunction" and looks well weird: This can be caused by going through the modes of ImgBurn. Well, that is all I could find in 10 minutes so, please get these bugs fixed for the next release
  8. Oh how about this (my last attempt ) WARNING!!!! (Time) -> Drive (x) - Info: (vender) (label) (USB - Could not find driver version, shhhhh, it will all be ok) Something like that Plus don't users question about this?: W 20:08:33 DVDFab Passkey can interfere with ImgBurn's ability to verify accurately, please ensure it's disabled!
  9. So where do these movies and music come from, first of all?
  10. But why? it would be like 2 lines of code, and gives the user information of why it does not show.
  11. Hey everybody. So when I go into 'Read' mode and right click and edit with the context strip the textbox highlights all the text (The path, the file name, and the extension). So file name extension support would not highlight the extension. This would make 0.11111551123544 seconds of my life easier So could there be a checkbox to support file name extensions?
  12. So could you add an exception and if it is true display out: W (Time) -> Drive (x) - Info: (vender) (label) (USB - Error: version unknown!)
  13. Hi all, So when I loaded up ImgBurn after installing my Xbox ROM drive via USB 2.0. But ImgBurn shows it as normal 'USB'. Is this a bug or does ImgBurn show unknown USB types as 'USB'. Any idea?
  14. Hey, So I discovered today, because my computer is running poorly because of the heat, ImgBurn's log window's list box flickers a lot when new items are added. So is there no way to reduced the flicker? Does it have to clear the log every time it adds an item then show all the items again? Or is it just one of those Windows things? Can't you create/draw your own type of list box control?
  15. Aah, put that in the pink box LIGHTNING UK!
  16. So there is no way of seeing if DVDFab Passkey is using it? Maybe show this in the status bar?
  17. Hi all, This afternoon I inserted a Blu-ray disc into my drive and when DVDFab Passkey started scanning it ImgBurn does not recognize the disc while it is scanning. (I have known this for a while, just putting it out there.) Does ImgBurn rely on explorer to see if there is a disc there? If so, is there no work around to make the disc look available, and then say: "The disc is being scanned by (variable)" and then Read button is disabled while this happens? This is just a suggestion, so again please say no, it is not possible. P.S I am just trying to help improve ImgBurn, but again I am probably going to be cut off
  18. Why do you think I would have a car like that? Look at the economy? That thing would use so much petrol/gas and no I am only 16 years old age, so yeah. Off topic: What font/theme does the splash screen of ImgBurn use? Now, currently the silver writing. And you Banner below also has it.
  19. I would recommend enabling the Verify function, as it always helps. Rather be safe then sorry. I remember when I use to burn Xbox 360 'Back-ups' and sometimes the Verification would fail, but the burn process didn't. So it is up to you
