  1. Yes, this happens all the time. It started some time ago. Until then, everything was OK. There are continously changes in the system (software upgrades etc.), so I couldn't relate this to a specific change. You should have my email address, so you can send me the debug version. Don't forget to explain how to activate the debug code if it isn't already activated. mumdigau
  2. The status line shows 'Creating Graph Data Thread...' mumdigau
  3. @LIGHTNING UK! Follow-up question: I've to wait more than 3 min before ImgBurn starts building and writing an image when graph data export is active (see this thread http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=13549 ). Might this problem be related to AV scanning, too? And if yes, how to get rid of it? Best regards mumdigau
  4. Yeah, it's AV scanning. Strange that behaviour is so different between NOD32 32-bit (Win XP) and NOD32 64-bit (Win 7). I added ImgBurn.exe to the exclusion list of NOD32. Now the 60 sec are gone. Thanks for help! Best regards mumdigau
  5. Hi, I just upgraded from 2.5.0.0 to 2.5.1.0. When I now start ImgBurn it takes more than 60 sec before the start screen shows up. Under 2.5.0.0 the start screen came immediately. What is curious, the start time as being presented in the log is the time when the start screen comes up. I really don't know what happens during the first 60 seconds. I deinstalled ImgBurn, rebooted, and made a freh install of 2.5.1.0, but that didn't change anything. I noticed in the log that ImgBurn complains about not being able to check for Updates. So I set my firewall to learning mode in order to prevent any blocking from Internet, but that didn't help, I then disabled updating in Settings. BTW, this only happens under Windows XP Pro SP3, in both systems - main and test system. Under Windows 7 Ultimate x64 ImgBurn starts normally. Any help highly appreciated. Best regards mumdigau
  6. No, PC is fully functional during those 3 min. If I remember right, this behaviour was there from the very beginning after I installed ImgBurn on this PC (Intel E8400, 4GB RAM, motherboard ASUS P5Q, Win Pro XP SP3). mumdigau
  7. Yeah, please do that. BTW, Event Viewer doesn't help. There is just one entry with more or less identical time stamp, i.e. the start of WMI Performance Adapter. This service is stopped 5 min later. I can't see any relationship to the problem here. mumdigau

  9. How do I activate this debugging code? mumdigau
  10. When you did this, did it also take a very long time for the file to be written to the hard disk? No, immediately. mumdigau
  11. I know, but I get better burning results with BCGB than with BCHB or BCIB. mumdigau
  12. Thanks for your quick reply. This option was disabled. When checked the ibg-file is written automatically. Thanks. 13. Hi, When using 'Write files/folders to disk' the graph data file isn't written automatically even though the option 'Capture Graph Data' is checked. DVDInfoPro is selected as Default Viewer with location 'Documents and Settings\...\Application Data\ImgBurn, but I have to export the ibg-file manually under File | Export Graph Data to get it written to disk. It's the actual version of ImgBurn. I remember that in earlier versions this has been done automatically. Additional remark: It takes more than 3 min(!) before ImgBurn starts building and writing the image. The status line shows 'Creating Graph Data Thread...'. Is this normal behaviour? Best regards mumdigau
  14. OK. So there is an escape from continuing if one doesn't like to. Thanks a lot. mumdigau
  15. That's fine. What happens in the 'last resort' case? Will the user have a chance to cancel the burning process? Ciao mumdigau
