    i cracked open some discs i had lying around and did a burn i noticed in the log:

    when i played back the disc it froze every few minutes, not sure what all the above means i take it the media was crap?

  3. Hi Guys,

     

    my mate made a dvd for me but i have noticed 2 things that bug me lol when the initial 1st video plays its 16:9 and should be 4:3 the main video is 16:9 so that's fine is there some way i can change the AR of the first video to 4:3?

     

    secondly when the dvd plays it goes past the first video then goes straight to the 2nd instead of going to the main menu i can edit this so it goes to the main menu after the first video

     

    hope that makes sense lol

    thanks for replying mate i EVENTUALLY got it lol i don't even know how i'd be lying if i said i did picture quality seems pretty good especially as VHS is stopping next year i think it is

  5. Hey Guys,

     

    i just recently purchased a Cello DVD Recorder DR-810 i am having a hell of a time setting it up i don't have a clue basically lol a VCR is so simple done loads of them but this thing is a nightmare i'm trying to hook it up VIA my TV/DVD Combo

     

    done so far

     

    Scart from TV/DVD to Recorder

    Coaxial from Recorder to TV/DVD

    Antenna from outside to Recorder

     

    that's as far as i'v got has anyone else set one up and can point me in the right direction?

  6. Cheers for the reply guys looks like i have made a boo boo lol

     

    they are 16 speed discs aswell i thought they would have been higher quality than usual ones but doesn't look much like it lol

     

    i did indeed test the disc it came up bad when it was blank and good when it was full lol but thanks for the advice guys

    just done a test on these discs i cought from cdr.co.uk the nero test says the whole disc is bad iv never seen this before

  8. Hi Guys,

     

    I have a german dvd that i'm gonna back up first audio is German then English,i ran it through shrink and deleted the German my question is, when i burn the dvd to disc and press play will the English track play first or will i need to edit the structure in some way for it to play instead of me selecting english.

    thanks guys i'm a novice when it comes to editing ifo/bup's lol
