  1. The purpose of the OP was not the question, it was the suggestion. I had my doubts that the question would be answered here at all, much less in a timely manner. So I placed the question in its own post in a different forum, where the question itself seemed appropriate. The purpose of the OP here is not the question, it was a suggestion. That's the reason you see the question in two places. The question was answered in the other forum. Regards, Muse
  2. What is the purpose of the CDT file in addition to the CUE and BIN files? That seems redundant. When I alter CD Text, I do it by editing the CUE file in a text editor. That doesn't change the CDT file and to avoid errors I have to delete the CDT file and erase the top line in the CUE file referring to a CDT file (which is there when the ripped CD already had some CD Text). So, why have a CDT file when the CD Text is already implicit/explicit in the CUE file? Am I missing something?
  3. My audio CD players are all Pioneer PD-F1007, and contain up to 301 disks. They support CD Text. It's super useful to have CD Text with these players. Nowadays most new audio CDs come with CD Text, but it's frequently not what I'd prefer and I alter it using Imgburn. This took some getting used to and figuring out. When I get a disk that doesn't have CD Text, I rip it and add CD Text and then burn from the image. I have written some code that helps immensely, but Imgburn could do all this stuff internally. I do have a question: What is the purpose of the CDT file in addition to the CUE and BIN files? That seems redundant. When I alter CD Text, I do it by editing the CUE file in a text editor. That doesn't change the CDT file and to avoid errors I have to delete the CDT file and erase the top line in the CUE file referring to a CDT file (which is necessary when the ripped CD already had some CD Text). 4. This morning Imgburn sees the optical drive after a restart. I don't normally reboot the machine often, but had to yesterday because my HDTV session had a lockup, completely locked up machine, unresponsive. So, I started the machine from scratch. Thank you for the response. Again, I just love Imgburn!
  5. Hi there... This is my first post. I love Imgburn, have been using extensively for over a year on my other machines. On this machine today I launched Imgburn and get this error: ------------------------------------------- ImgBurn ------------------------------------------- X I/O Error! Device: [1:3:0] TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552L 0614 (F:)(ATA) CDB: 12 00 00 00 60 00 Interpretation: Inquiry Reason: Invalid access to memory location [Retry] [Cancel] ------------------------------------------- The PC is kind of old, is running WinXP. My SATA DVD/CD drive doesn't work on its SATA controller, so I'm using an IDE optical drive. I don't have issues with it, in general. Seems to work OK with other programs. I don't know if this issue is related to the optical drive. The machine is running AVG free AV. I temporarily disabled AVG and the error happened as usual upon launch of Imgburn. Thanks for your help. I just registered, will attempt to make sure I get an email when this thread is posted to. Thanks again. - - - - Edit: Here's what it says in the log: I 11:22:59 ImgBurn Version 2.5.8.0 started!
