@dbminter - forgot to mention I'm using mini dvd-r - they are branded Fujifilm and were quite expensive (though most mini dvd's are now) - and for gamecube I hear RITEK is the brand to go with, but I will try and get my hands on some different media @LIGHTNING UK! - that's a bit unsettling - I'll try jiggling/unplugging and replugging the wires thank you both!

hey y'all so I've been trying to burn some gamecube games in .iso format and getting mixed results: - one went through fine in imgburn, and didn't boot in the (modded) system. - one got a similar set of errors to below, and during the Verify phase it kept getting a popup error saying there was a mismatch. this however burned all the way and even appeared to load up fine on the gamecube - The one I'm trying now got the Potential Bogus Driver error, same as second one, except this one is now stuck at 65% and is not progressing.
