  1. I was wondering if some one could give me information on this. I was attempting to burn some data on disc for a picky media device, but when I would use brands like my Philips and others, but the device would have problems reading them. I later went to a 99 cent store and saw that they were selling DVD media, and decided to give them a try and found every burn to be readable by every picky device I have come across. I was wondering why was it, so I include the Media code. 1.)Disc ID: MCC-003-00 [99 Cent Discs] 100% Success Rate so far. 2.)Manufacturer ID: CMC MAG. AM3 - [Philips] (ImgBurn only showed Mag ID not Disc ID) Failure on Picky Devices. 3.)Disc ID: CMC MAG-M01-00 [TDK] Failure on Picky Devices 4.)Disc ID: OPTODISC-OR8-00 [samsung Pleomax] Success on some picky devices sometimes. Thanks for any help that can be rendered.

  3. I would try another burn, but I hate to waste DVD+R DLs, and I was looking for a burn that would not last 45mins. Its 2007.
  4. I have had the 1.10 Firmware already. Nero supports Book-Type Setting with this burner. Nero seems to be the only software that kinda fully supports this burner.
  5. I have a ASUS DRW-1814BLT, it is a natural burner, meaning that its not a Pioneer its an Asus made burner. It has BitSetting, and OverSpeed, but ImgBurn does not support it, infact I have been getting bad burns with ImgBurn. How do I submit the information needed to add support for it? -Dudeman456
