Peter HB Posted July 10, 2009 Share Posted July 10, 2009 Presently, if one wishes to erase an RW disc it is necessary to"fake" a write operation and then gain access to the erase option via the Tools menu. mmalves Posted July 10, 2009 Share Posted July 10, 2009 The Tools -> Drive menu (the same as when you right-click a drive's name) changes according to the capabilities of the currently selected drive (yes there are people with more than 1 drive on their systems ), and that's why you need to choose a program mode before you can access the drive's functions.
