It's already book typed.

I 21:24:11 Source Media Type: DVD-ROM (Book Type: DVD-ROM)

You have these speeds to try with:

(Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x)

If all fails, then your burner simple don't like that brand of media (media code). Either switch to another brand (better) or get a new drive that likes those discs.

Perhaps the burn was not that good even if you got it through the verify part.

Could run it in DVDInfoPro for a scan to see how good it really was.

hi how do i do that..?run it in DVDInfoPro

i,am a newbie

Download the program from www.dvdinfopro.com

Start the program and select 'Scan'

Select 4x as the speed

Also select Block for the two options PIE and PIF, like this:

post-20-1246502620.png

Then press Start and let it run.

When it's done you can press the Snapshot/Camera button and get a .png file that you can post here.

A disaster... :(

The red after the layer break indicates that you console have a very hard time reading the disc and probably fails to read it.

Normally Lite-Ons burns best with DL media with low burning speeds, so I doubt the 6x and 8x will give you any better results.

I think your burner is to old to support new media codes like the one you currently use.

This is how a nice burn looks.
