I make backups and burn them with dls using imgburn. i normally use verabatime dvd+r dls to burn my dls, but i ran out and i bought some hp dvd+r dls. now my problem is when i try to use img burn to burn a dl with these dvd dls i get this error: i/o error device {1:0} benq dvd dd dw1620 b7w9 ata scistatus 0x02 interpretation check condition cdb 2a 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00 interpretation: write (10) - sectors 0-31 sense area 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 00 12 00 00 00 00 00 3 02 00 00 00 01 02 03 04 05 interpretation: power calibration area is full Is there anything i could change in the program to make these hp dvd cmc mag dls work? LIGHTNING UK!
Nope, not really. Power calibration errors can only be fixed by firmware updates - as it's a sign that the current one doesn't support the media.
lfcrule1972
There are some reviews of alternative DVD+R DL media in the forum (link in my signature). From my point of view I wouldn't waste any money on any DL that isn't a verbatim one !
