TAO Invalid field in the CDR

I'm new to Image Burn.

Using a TSST H653Q.

On a Vista system.

When I burn an audio CD in SAO, everything works fine.

When I use TAO, even with the 2 second Gap setting, there is an error window stating that it had a problem closing due to An Invalid Field in the CDB. This happens in the first quarter of the first track.

I know I should have included a copy of the log, but after wasting 2 CDs, I figured I'd see if anyone else had a simple answer.....Perhaps I am not checking a box that should be checked.

Thanks in advance -

Thanks for getting back to me.

I do have the lastest version of Image Burn installed.

Firmware HQ does not list TSST brand CD writer.

Thanks for telling me where I can find old Image Burn logs.

Here is a log where TAO failed, and then I successfully burned the project with SAO:

TSST stands for Toshiba Samsung Storage Technology and is presented under Samsung branded drives on FirmwareHQ.

Your specific model TS-H653Q has listed SC01 firmware update, but that is not matching your OEM version, your looks as 0303.

You can try find an update if it ever exist on your computer manufacturer site. Seems to be an HP laptop, am I right?

ianymaty & Lightning UK administrator, thanks for all the help. This is really a great forum.

My computer is an HP desktop - your guess was very close.

I gather that since Lightning UK administrator has indicated that this is a bug that has now been fixed: That the next version of Image Burn will contain the fix.....So I can just wait until that happens?

Thanks again, and this is a great product,

Bertwest
