Can't burn anything

I have been using ImgBurn without any problem until last weekend. Now for some reason whenever I try to burn something with Imgburn, it gives me this:

I 18:00:31 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started!

I 18:00:31 Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Edition (6.1, Build 7600)

I 18:00:31 Total Physical Memory: 916,024 KB - Available: 232,724 KB

I 18:00:31 Initializing SPTI...

I 18:00:31 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...

W 18:00:31 No devices detected!

I am not good with computers so can't figure out the reason behind this problem. BTW I have LG GH22NS50 DVD writer, got it few weeks ago. Can anyone help me to fix this problem?

Can you acces the drive in Explorer. Is it show up in Device Manager?

Did you try to shutdown and restart the computer to see if it appears?

It is connected to motherboard directly or via an adapter?

Update chipset/controler drivers.

Update ImgBurn too.
