Hi! I've a big problem!

I bought these BD-R 50gb (VERBAT-IMf-000) and i try to copy an ISO file (as usual) but i received this error:

"Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31 - Reason: Cannot Write Medium - Incompatible Format

and

"Cannot Write Medium - Incompatible Format" for many many times.

I never had this type of problem with my LG BD-RE BH10LS30.

What can i do to solve this big problem?

Please... help me!!!

Thanks!!!

This is the real problem, the first error

W 19:42:47 Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31 - Reason: Program Memory Area Update Failure

There is a pinned thread about this problem http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=7860

Make sure you use the latest firmware (1.00-09) on your drive http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/BH10LS30/files.html

Yo can see more firmware version information by going to the Device Capabilities window and when checking for firmware updates.

Rightclick on the drive and select one of the last options from the context menu.

Thanks, but do you know if my bd burner lg bh10ls30 can burn this type of BD-R disc (VERBAT-IMf-000)?

I don't know if this error: "Cannot Write Medium - Incompatible Format" may be caused from the speed writing...

I don't know if this error: "Cannot Write Medium - Incompatible Format" may be caused from the speed writing...

W 19:42:47 Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31 - Reason: Program Memory Area Update Failure

That's the "real" error.

A different speed/disc might work.

I've had this issue with PMAU errors on my Lite-Ons and in that case it seems related to the amount of sectors for a specific disc image. It also happens at the end of the burn in my cases.

In this case you get it at the start of the burn and I've never had a LG burner so it might be the speed that is the issue.
