Hi all first post here...so ive successfully burned BD-25s with verbatim and optical quantum...so thought burning a BD-50 would work as easy (using same optical quantums for the BD-50) but i cant seem to make it work. Ive tried slowing the burn speed and this hasnt helped...here is my latest log. Appreciate any thoughts!

Thanks for the reply...I thought since the Optical Quantum 25's worked that the 50's would too...but I do see that the disc ID's are different. Im assuming each bd-media have different ID's and therefore some may or may not work on one's drive depending upon said drive?

Before you responded I was able to match the writespeed correctly and thought i was on the way to success only to have the following error log come up....

again I should buy some other 50's? man they are expensive!

Yup, some will be supported and some won't.

LG might be able to supply you with a list of supported media.

Failing that, you could try reading off the current firmware using Devilsclaw's flasher, then load it into 'Media Code Speed Edit' and see if it can understand it.
