Skyrim too big?

Trying to burn Skyrim for xbox 360. I read the other posts of guys with same problem. Wonder if there has been any solutions yet, or do I just need a new burner? Not sure what to do, as I am using a laptop. Do I need to buy an external writer? Any idea what to buy for burning XGD3 games? Tried several different write speeds. I am using memorex DVD+R DL. Thanks

@Chrispaul

Read this in case you missed it, and the slim line burner in you laptop is probably not the greatest, so yes, you need a proper external writer.

This one is quite new as it is USB 3 enabled

There are probably less expensive ones that don't have a Blu-ray burner.
