Dare978Devil Posted June 15, 2012 Share Posted June 15, 2012 (edited) I am trying to track down an error which shows up repeatedly in my Event Viewer : The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: StarOpen According to some forums, this driver is associated with some CD/DVD burning programs. Is this something that ImgBrn calls? There does not seem to be any negative effect of having this error in my Event Viewer, whatever program calls StarOpen seems to work just fine when it is not loaded. I regularly use ImgBurn to burn DVDs and BR, and it works very well. Am just curious if there is ever a call to this driver, and if so, is there anything I can do to get rid of this error.
