Just Me
Hey! I bought a new laptop and did a clean installation of Windows 7 Prof. 64bit and ImgBurn 2.5.7.0.. Every time I close ImgBurn it crashes with the following message. I tried to reinstall ImgBurn but it didn't fix the problem. Any ideas? LIGHTNING UK!
No idea, sorry. Boot into safe mode, does it still crash when you close it?
Just Me
No, it doesn't crash in safe mode.
LIGHTNING UK!
So it could be something else running in the background when you boot into 'normal' mode that's causing it to crash... maybe some sort of AV software or whatever.
Just Me
Maybe. But I think it'll be hard to find the source of the issue. ImgBurn works fine with the AV software on different PCs but I know that doesn't mean anything. I'll try to close all background programs as far as possible an check again. Anyway, thanks for the very quick reply
Adrianvdh
Do you have any unknown drivers that might cause the problem for ImgBurn to crash?
