Disable the splash screen?

Only reason I could see for hiding it would be to maybe run it without the user being aware.

 

My suggestion would be to load it and simultaneously close your eyes, then you won't know its there.

I say again, splashkiller will do the job for you no worries. It's a tiny freeware app (40kb or something), runs in the systray and is configurable for those apps you don't want to kill the splashscreen (e.g ImgBurn :D)

What about an argument such as /nosplash ?

(Like some other programs have, isobuster, goldwave, etc..)

No need to put an option _inside_ the program really, but using /nosplash in the shortcut would suppress it.
