For eg:- if drive supports 24x and media supports only 16x then need to get the speed separately as 24x and 16x. The reason behind this is for Taiyo Yuden media, we are getting 24x also as supporting speed. But its specification says only upto 16x speed. http://www.t-yuden.com/ut/product/category/media/dvdr/ We have checked write speed using DeviceIOControl() with control code CDROM_GET_PERFORMANCE.
