HellaHated Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) I'm trying to help my friend from Germany create a game with a DVD + R DL, 8.5gb, 2.4x and he has been prompted with this message twice now. The first time he made it to 74% and then it gave this error code. We tried to burn another one and this time it only made it to 63% before it gave the same exact error code. I read in a post that he may need new discs or a new burner, but they didn't have the exact same error code so I wanted to make sure I know exactly what he should do. I don't want him to spend money if he doesn't have to. "I/O Error! I was half asleep when I quoted you last night and I forgot to ask, if he buys Verbatim discs, will he be able to burn it with that BENQ burner?
