TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L633L 99% Synchronising Cache hang

 I usually don't go on forums and post problems until I am at my last resort of finding a solution. I have read a number of different forums talking about going into the registry and deleting things for my dvd burner to to finish cds. I have also read about updating my firmware to a new one and I have tried that and basically it is up to date. I also deleted alcohol and daemon tools lite from my computer to see if that messed with my burning driver. I have done the f8 log view and see these errors over and over again and I can't understand it. I am running on a HP pavilion dv5-1250us Entertainment laptop that was made a back in 2008 I believe and I have never had issues with burning stuff on my laptop since this month. I also have heard that people are having this issue with their OS, my OS is Windows Vista Home Premium. I will donate to anyone who will help me out with this problem. Great no one wants to help me out with this problem. I think the only thing 
I can blame this problem from happening is my ipod. 
I remember it had crashed my computer the last couple of times I updated it. I ended up restoring it to factory settings and it worked fine since then. I also go the blue screen of death when my computer crashed during those times. Do I need to restore my computer to fix this problem? It kind of doesn't seem worth it to me. I will just get an optic burning drive on my main rig if I have to go to that solution.

What controller is to drive attached to?

 

Right click the drive selection drop down box when you're in Write mode and click 'family tree'. Close the prompt that comes up and then copy + paste the contents of the Log window please.

 

I've seen this issue before and it's usually driver related. Non Intel boards are the worst offenders and optical drives don't like being on controllers running in raid mode - which yours is.

What I'd try now is burning in safe mode.

 

That may cause Windows to use a more generic drive and it might bypass whatever's causing the problem.

 

After that, try finding an updated (or perhaps an older) driver for your motherboard / SATA controller. As you can see from the log, yours is something AMD based. A program like CPU-Z might be able to tell you a bit more about the chipset your motherboard uses.

Yeah buddy I tried that and it still would not finish up anything. I think my burning drive is dead and done. RIP 2006-2014. I am just going to buy a new one for my computer tower and just give this laptop away as soon as I back up my music.

So here is an update with me putting my hp pavilion entertainment pc back to factory settings. I backed up my music, pictures, and videos just fine using the microsoft burner program that comes with all PC's that have a Windows based OS...Well....it looks like the same problem is still going on with image burn. At least the (RAID) logo is off and now it is an (ATA) but that didn't fix the problem. Here is the log...whats is this laptops problem? I have read all over the internet that reseting your computer to factory settings does the trick but this is crazy.

BTW I have used these Sony discs before when I was burning my music and they worked perfectly fine so I know it is not the cd because of tons of them in my cd library from successfull burns.
